I was pretty excited to look out the window yesterday morning and see a light dusting of snow on the ground. It looked like back home! When I turned on my computer before heading out to the shelter, the front page headline in one of the leading newspapers stated "Snow Chaos! How did this happen again?"

I give you "Snow Chaos"...

I realize that this country is not prepared for this kind of weather, there are no snow tires here, and it's kind of icy on the sidewalks. But "Snow Chaos"? There's less than an inch on the ground outside. It's beautiful outside!!! And it's winter! Aren't we suppose to get some snow out there? :)

  1. Yay for schnee (rhymes with "yay")! Well, as you've said (and others as well), the Brits love to talk about the weather, and I guess it does create "chaos" when there are no snow tires (seriously, NO snow tires? I see the opportunity for a new business in the UK!), and maybe even no snow shovels? That said, there's nothing like creating Christmas atmosphere by having some snow, so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. :)

  2. If I had nothing else to do, I think I'd create a game using the random letters that one has to type to get a comment posted. This last time? "innerpe". Previously, "dognit". I've had some pretty hilarious ones. :)

  3. Sorry, but this time it was "unkinged" - how appropriate for a blog in the UK...could that apply to Charles? ;-)
